Dr Kyle completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2014 from University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) sanctioned by the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2011. With a unique blend of manual therapy and strength training, Dr Krupa has been able to elevate elite athletic performance by addressing athletic injury and movement dysfunction. Throughout his career, he has treated and trained multiple populations that include Olympic gold medalists, NFL, NHL, MLB and MMA athletes. Previous contracts as a team physio include USA Weightlifting and US Sailing.
Aside from his work as a practicing clinician, Dr Kyle is also an adjunct professor at University of Miami, Department of Continuing Education, teaching Athletic Injuries and Performance Enhancement Drugs. In this capacity, he teaches future coaches and athletes the foundations of sport-specific training, periodizaion, overuse and acute athletic injuries, performance supplementation, and drug screening policies and procedures.
Dr Kyle is author of several publications that address hamstring length and dynamic pelvic position, neural activation preceding overhead lifting, pes planus (flat feet) and implications on performance, and vertebrobasilar insufficiency with cervical manipulation. He was also a co-author of a published case study, Colorectal cancer presenting as low back pain and coccydynia, which was presented at APTA Combined Sections Meeting, 2014.
